Q) HOW DO I RESERVE A PHOTOSHOOT?
A) As soon as we have decided on a date and time for your photo session you can pay the required retainer (30%, submit the signed contract and you will be officially booked. :)
Q) HOW DO I RECEIVE PHOTOS?
A) Your photos will be delivered digitally via an email link to download, and a private online gallery to share with your friends and family.
Q) CAN I get photos delivered ON a USB drive?
A) Yes, Images may be provided on a USB key for an additional fee of $15.
Q) CAN I EXTEND THE SESSION ON THE DAY OF THE PHOTOSHOOT?
A) Yes as long as I don't have another client scheduled.
Q) IF WE CANCEL OUR BOOKING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DEPOSIT BACK?
A) In case you cancel you will not receive your deposit back. This covers any loss in the form of lost bookings and eventual costs already arisen before the actual session. However, I understand that unforeseen events can happen, so I try to work on alternatives if possible – e.g. find a new date for a session.
Q) HOW SOON CAN I EXPECT MY IMAGES?
A) Timeline for image deliveries varies upon the season, typically within 1-2 weeks. Please inquire about the currently expected timelines.
Q) DO YOU PROVIDE DIGITAL NEGATIVES (RAW FILES) AFTER THE SHOOT?
A) You will be provided with edited images only. Each picture is carefully handled and will be a representation of my work.
Q) WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO THE DIGITAL PRINTS?
A) If your selected packages include digital files you will receive reproduction rights to all your images. This gives you the right to reproduce the images for personal use, so you can use them for prints, sharing them on your social media, making canvases, etc. Commercial use is not allowed if not separately agreed on. I retain the copyright of the images.
Q) WHICH FORM OF PAYMENTS DO ACCEPT?
A) For easy payment of your deposit and package I offer a secure comfortable online payment option via Interac E-transfer. If cash payment is preferred by the client, then please mention that in your requirements.
Q) DO I GET ALL THE IMAGES YOU TAKE?
A) I thoroughly go through all the images I take during a session and will take out the obviously unusable ones in a first step. I also reduce the number of duplicates so you can enjoy only the best of the best images. With each package, I guarantee a minimum amount of images according to the session you choose but in the end, you will get all the images that make it into the final collection.
Q) WHICH LOCATIONS DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR A PORTRAIT SESSION?
A) I mainly do outdoor photography sessions with natural light & off-camera lighting. I also do indoor sessions if you have a specific venue or location you would like. I also love to explore cities, go on hikes with you and can shoot (almost) everywhere you might come up with. The best places are where you feel most comfortable so you enjoy the session as much as possible. I would love to talk about your ideas so just shoot me a message!
Q) DO YOU SHOOT DESTINATION LOCATIONS?
A) Yes, I am willing to travel to destination locations for specialized photoshoots. Perth, Almonte, are some of my favourite nearby towns, and I can travel anywhere up-to Toronto or Montreal depending on your requirement. Please note that the travel expenses are an additional cost.
